Bio - Debbie Stempf

Debbie received her physical therapy degree from the University of Washington in 1987. After 14 years of serving our veterans at the Seattle VA Hospital and acquiring an unparalleled education from stroke and amputee rehabilitation to running the orthopedic outpatient therapy clinic she started Paisano Physical Therapy in Edmonds in 2002. The great outdoors beckend and Debbie has moved her clinic to Spokane, Washington.

Debbie has a wide knowledge base in therapy practices and uses all to build a specific care plan with the patients she sees in Spokane. Biomechanics of the foot is one of her specialties and Paisano specializes in building custom orthotics for a wide variety of problems.

Facial paralysis treatment is a growing part of her practice and she is continually amazed at the positive changes she and her patients see in their increasing ability to smile and in creating greater symmetry in their faces. Debbie has had specialized training through the Bell’s Palsy Foundation and is currently the sole Washington practitioner using this treatment approach. CranioSacral therapy adds another powerful component to manual therapy treatment. Debbie increasingly adds CST for a variety of problems from head and neck pain to shoulder problems. It is a far-reaching modality that brings significant results. Therapeutic exercise is an integral component in restoring normal and pain free movement and Debbie offers many options to her patients to find the right blend.

Debbie enjoys her one-on-one time with her patients and creates a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.
