Following graduation from the University of Washington in 1986 Mary began her career at West Seattle Hospital gaining experience in acute care, orthopedics, and rehabilitation. She found a love for orthopedic physical therapy and attended the Orthopedic Residency Program at the Ola Grimbsy Institute of Manual Therapy in 1992-1993. This intensive program is based on the acclaimed Norwegian orthopedic manual therapy style. Mr. Grimsby has worked with the Norwegian national Olympic teams and is world-renowned.
Mary desired a change of pace after a number of years and began working at United Cerebral Palsy with children and adults with cerebral palsy and other birth defects becoming a specialist in wheelchair seating and positioning. She found that she could use her orthopedic skills while working in a rehabilitation setting that was rewarding to both herself and her clients.
Mary joined Paisano Physical Therapy 2 years ago. She has known Debbie
for over 25 years and felt that this opportunity to work together was
one she did not want to let go by.
